I spent more than 25 years working at the enterprise level — managing critical IT infrastructure for government agencies including the WA Department of Health, and for large organisations right across Western Australia. I have designed networks, secured systems, managed cloud migrations and solved the kind of problems that keep entire organisations running. Over time, something started to bother me.

Perth’s home users and small businesses — the people who needed quality IT support most — were being let down. Franchise operators sent whichever junior technician happened to be free. Invoices arrived by the hour with no estimate up front. Explanations came wrapped in jargon that left people more confused than when they started. So I made a decision.

I left the corporate world and started Lark Assist: a mobile IT support service built around one simple idea — every Perth resident deserves the same expertise and personal service that large organisations pay a premium for. Yes. Many issues can be resolved remotely without a home visit, saving you time. I will let you know up front whether remote or on-site is the right approach for your situation.

Absolutely. Residential home visits are our most popular service, and small businesses are very welcome too. You get the same enterprise-level expertise without a lock-in MSP contract — you pay only for what you need, when you need it.
